Today we welcome Professor Stefano Zaffagnini, Full Professor of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the University of Bologna and Director of the II Orthopaedic and Traumatology Clinic at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli — one of the most iconic orthopaedic institutes in the world. Professor Zaffagnini has performed over 11,000 operations, is one of only four Italian members of the ACL Study Group, has published over 600 scientific papers with an H-index of 72, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Experimental Orthopaedics, the official open-access journal of ESSKA. His work spans ACL reconstruction, cartilage biology, joint biomechanics, computer-assisted surgery, and biological joint reconstruction. Welcome to the podcast!
